Wench are one of Hull’s most talked about bands in 2024. Dave Windass interviews the band and gets the low down.

"Wench are a genre, formed of rebellion and anger…angry female music…and angst…"

The band came together through conversations at a local college, bonding through a ‘Rocky Horror’ bag. Wench make all of their own music and have been heading off to the live circuit having formed in October 2023. They have played The Adelphi, Polar Bear and Hallgate Tavern.

"We don't really want to do covers…" Listen to the Wench interview above. Keep an eye out for their single too.
